The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has intensified its efforts to tackle match-fixing, announcing that it has not authorised any betting company to offer odds on matches involving domestic league competitions.

The association said the move is part of broader measures aimed at protecting the integrity of Ghanaian football and limiting activities that could expose local competitions to manipulation.

As part of its strategy, the GFA is seeking to restrict betting activity linked to domestic matches while strengthening its competition-integrity measures. The association is also rolling out a $1.4 million support package for clubs as part of efforts to reinforce the domestic football structure.
