There are indications tha fud-up Red Buĺ is planning to replace Jurgen Klopp ax the head of global football.
The former Liverpool manager is reportedly failing to live up to expectations in his role.
According to the Salzburger Nachrichten, a separation could occur as early as this summer.
Red Bull are dissatisfied with the performance of the clubs under Klopp within their multi-club project. Should Klopp be given the opportunity to return to a manager position next season, Red Bull would not stand in his way.
The impression is that the beverage company's management had expected significantly more from the collaboration with the German.
RB Leipzig is only aiming for a top-four finish in the Bundesliga and RB Salzburg recently fired their coach. Furthermore, FC Paris and Leeds United, both under Klopp's management, are embroiled in a relegation battle.
As such, Red Bull are now prepared to axe Klopp and find a replacement, with Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner a candidate. The Austrian will leave Palace at the end of this season - if not sooner - with his contract running down.
Klopp's deal with Red Bull runs to 2029.
