 Organisers of the Nigeria University Games (NUGA) have commenced a comprehensive marketing drive ahead of the 28th edition of the Games, scheduled to be hosted by the University of Calabar (UNICAL) in 2026.


MediaVision Limited, the sole and exclusive marketing rights holder for NUGA UNICAL 2026, led by its Managing Director, Mrs. Opeoluwa Adeyemo-Anjorin, alongside the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof. Offiong E. Offiong, paid courtesy visits to SystemSpecs, Zenith Bank, Wema Bank and Nestlé Nigeria on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, to seek corporate support for the Games. 

During the engagements, the Vice-Chancellor solicited sponsorship and partnership support, assuring prospective partners of an enabling platform to engage with over 50 universities and thousands of student-athletes expected to participate in the Games. He expressed his determination to host what he described as the best edition of NUGA to date, noting that the university would require strong institutional and corporate backing to achieve that goal.


At SystemSpecs and Zenith Bank, the delegation was received by the Group Managing Director, Mr. John Obaro, and the Corporate Communications team led by Group Head, Mr. Chinedu Zephaniah, respectively. At Wema Bank, the team was welcomed by Mr. Tunde Mabawonku- Executive Director, while the Brand Manager for Milo at Nestlé Nigeria, Mr. Gilbert Tweneboah-Koduah, received the delegation during their visit.
