Katsina State renowned football administrator Mal Ayyuba Gambarawa has called on sports stakeholders and politicians to complement the Katsina State government's commitment to promoting sports and youth development.
Mal Ayyuba Gambarawa made the call while briefing newsmen on the outcome of the just-concluded Dan'amana Peace and Unity Cup football competition.
The season football administrator, who acknowledged the foresight of Haruna Umar Maiwada for organizing one of the best football competitions in the state, appreciated his efforts for supporting the clubs with balls and jerseys.
Besides the two million Naira disbursed to the four finalists football teams that competed in the finals and the 3rd place respectively.
Mal Ayyuba Gambarawa also commends the Dan'amanar Katsina for complementing the effort of Mal Dikko Umaru Radda in youth empowerment and sports development.
Noted that his contribution in that regard is encouraging the state's teeming populace to remain in love and support of the current administration.
He used the interview to call on the attention of the sports-loving people in the state to always exhibit sportsmanship and desist from violence or match disruption.
