Napoli striker Romelu Lukaku has hinted that he is interested in returning to Anderlecht, hinting that his time with the Azzurri will not be his final chapter in football.
Despite
delivering standout performances under coach Antonio Conte this season, the
Belgian forward is already planning his next career move.
Last month,
Lukaku revealed his intention to return to his boyhood club, Anderlecht. “I
will finish my career at Anderlecht, my parent club. I promised my son, who
plays there,” he told Corriere dello Sport.
Now, reports
from La Dernière Heure and Het Nieuwsblad suggest that the 31-year-old is
targeting a move back to Anderlecht in the summer of 2026. Lukaku has
reportedly informed those close to him of his decision, signaling a clear plan
for his future beyond Napoli.
