The
Confederation of African Football (CAF) has entered a new strategic partnership
with Africa Global Logistics (AGL), naming AGL the Official Logistics Partner
for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 and the
TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Morocco 2026.
The agreement
was signed in Johannesburg on April 23, 2025, by CAF President Dr. Patrice
Motsepe and AGL President Philippe Labonne. This renewed collaboration builds
on their successful partnership during AFCON Côte d’Ivoire 2023.
CAF President
Dr. Motsepe emphasized that the partnership demonstrates a strong commitment to
advancing football and supporting socio-economic growth across Africa. He
highlighted AGL’s role in delivering advanced logistics solutions vital for
organizing world-class tournaments.
AGL President
Philippe Labonne stated that the company aims to help make football a catalyst
for economic and social development, celebrating the passion of millions of
Africans and promoting inclusion, especially for women’s football.
Operating in
47 African countries, AGL will provide innovative and sustainable logistics
services to ensure the smooth delivery of both AFCON and WAFCON, with the
partnership expected to boost local economies, create jobs, and foster gender
equality in sports.
