Lobi Stars FC has
officially secured approval from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) to
host their home games at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.
The
transition takes effect from Matchday 28, when Lobi Stars will face Ikorodu
City on Monday, March 10, 2025. This relocation marks a strategic move away
from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi, aimed at enhancing the
team’s performance in a more favorable setting.
After a
comprehensive assessment, the NPFL has confirmed that the Enugu-based stadium
meets all required standards for league matches, making it the team’s new home
ground for the remainder of the season.
Lobi Stars
are committed to ensuring a smooth transition, with necessary logistics in
place to create an electrifying matchday experience for both players and fans.
With this move, the club is determined to make Enugu a fortress, as they strive
for greater success in the league.
As they
prepare for their debut game at their new home, Lobi Stars are embracing this
fresh chapter with renewed focus and ambition.
