 Inter Miami CF have moved into pole position in the race to sign Casemiro, the veteran midfielder currently with Manchester United.

The Brazilian star is expected to leave Old Trafford when his contract expires at the end of the season, having already indicated his intention to seek a new challenge this summer.

Reports from The Sun claim the Major League Soccer side have opened talks and that Casemiro recently travelled to Florida to explore living arrangements ahead of a possible move.

Casemiro, who will celebrate his 34th birthday next week, was spotted in Miami alongside his wife during the visit.

Brazilian giants São Paulo FC remain interested in bringing the midfielder home and are reportedly preparing a two-year contract offer, including an option for an additional 12 months, as they attempt to rival Inter Miami’s push for his signature.
