Barcelona president Joan Laporta has indicated that the club will not be making any further signings ahead of Tuesday’s winter transfer deadline.
Following the arrival of João Cancelo from Saudi side Al-Hilal, Laporta said the Catalan giants are satisfied with the current composition of the squad as they prepare for the second half of the campaign.
Speaking in an interview with La Vanguardia, the club chief noted that Barcelona had met its objectives in the January window, stressing that the recent addition of a flexible defensive option effectively concludes their business.
Laporta also highlighted the progress of academy graduates Marc Bernal and Marc Casadó, expressing delight at their growing influence within the team.
According to him, their emergence reflects Barcelona’s long-standing philosophy of blending homegrown talent from La Masia with established international quality.
Do you belief this decision is ok for Barcelona?
