Liverpool FC
have secured the highest social engagement in the Premier League for the second
season in a row and marks their most successful season ever on social media.
According to
figures from Blinkfire Analytics*, Liverpool are just shy of 1.7bn engagements
across all platforms during their title winning campaign. This is 10% more than
last season and 45% above the second most engaged club in the league this
season.
The day they
won their 20th league title in April is their most engaged day on social media
with over 60.7m engagements in 24 hours.
Their Premier
League title win is also the most engaged league title trophy lift in Europe –
more than the winners of LaLiga, Ligue 1, Serie A and Bundesliga.
The latest
broadcast figures up until March 2025 from Nielsen show that Liverpool FC are
still the number one most watched Premier League club globally with 504 million
cumulative viewers.
LFC reached
11 million subscribers on YouTube earlier in the year, after receiving the
Diamond Play Button back in May 2024 for reaching 10 million subscribers on the
channel – the first in the Premier League club to reach this milestone.
They have
also launched three new WhatsApp channels this season – in Spanish, Portuguese
and a dedicated channel for LFC women.
The club
continues to see this increase in engagements due to its highly creative and
original organic content along with its matchday and behind-the-scenes content,
featuring the men’s and women’s team.

from Blinkfire Analytics are pulled from across all major social media
platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, TikTok and YouTube.
