Ambassador Yahaya Seriki has charged players and coaching
crew of Kwara United to make the State proud on Saturday, May 3, by beating
Akwa United in their Federation Cup quarterfinal battle in Enugu.
This encounter is expected to be tough considering the pedigree
of these two NPFL giants who are still nursing the ambition of getting a
Continental Ticket.
Seriki, while speaking about the crucial game made it
clear that Kwara United players should do their possible best to put smiles on
the faces of Kwarans most especially their financier, His Excellency, Governor
AbdulRahman.
Amba, a business mogul and a Sports loving man added that
Kwara United players should have it at the back of their minds that the prayers
and support of all Kwarans home and abroad are with them.
"You can do it and you have to, but you must not
underrate your opponents.
"Go out and play the match will all seriousness
because I want to come and watch you in the Final. Goodluck to you guys,"
the strong APC Chief explained.
Meanwhile, Kwara United Coach Tunde Sanni stated that his
wards are ready to soar against Akwa United today with 4pm the kickoff time in
