Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are set for a titanic Europa League final showdown tonight at the San Mames Stadium in Bilbao, with both Premier League struggling teams aim to salvage disappointing domestic seasons by lifting the trophy, and earning a coveted Champions League spot for next season.

The final presents a crucial opportunity for redemption, as both clubs have endured underwhelming Premier League campaigns, occupying the 16th and 17th positions respectively after amassing a combined 39 defeats. Despite the challenges, dedicated fans from both sides have made their way to the Basque region, hoping to witness a turnaround in fortunes.

The stage is set for Europa League final.

Manchester United arrive in Bilbao with an unbeaten European run this season, seeking to replicate their 2017 triumph in the competition while exorcising the demons of their 2021 final loss to Villarreal on penalties.

Tottenham, have dominated recent encounters between the two sides, remaining unbeaten in their last six meetings with United, including three straight victories. A win tonight would not only secure silverware but could also strengthen Spurs’ position ahead of a potentially pivotal summer transfer window.
